The free app "meteonews.tv - continuous weather info" is the portable weather channel, a unique application that offers all the video content from meteonews.TV in an optimized format for the iPad. The information currently covers France and Switzerland among others with dedicated channels for each country (switchable under "Preferences").

The general forecast broadcast is handled by a presentation team updating the bulletins several times a day, while as per developments (and countries), more thematic sections focus on the weekend, biometeorology, leisure activities, or changes in mountain conditions. Real-time meteorology is updated 24/7 and delivered uniquely through exclusive MeteoNews webcam animations, readings from various measurement networks, and meteorological alerts. The modules offered in the program evolve dynamically according to the seasons and user needs.
